ICF Walls and Lite-Deck 2
We installed the interior room ledger and the
vertical rebar in the walls. We also completed the
Lite-deck side rebar into the North and South
walls, the domestic water install (refer to Plumbing)
and the radiant heat (refer to Plumbing).

We had a lot to do today to get ready for the pour
tomorrow. The Lite-Deck is complete and ready, all
of the doors are braced and all of the ledgers in
place.

Pumper 17
Today came way to early. We were up at 6am
when the 1st pumper arrived. We were busy doing
last minute details before the concrete trucks
arrived. The 1st truck finally showed up at 7:30
and we started pouring about 7:45. We were just
about through with the first truck when the pumper
broke down. The driver worked with his tech guy
over the phone for about an hour before calling a
new truck out. The first truck was a 44 meter and
the second truck was a 55 meter. The reach was
pretty impressive. We made it trhough the pour
with only one near blowout. We got it patched up
and we had to patch a couple other spots that
looked like they might blow-out. The flatwork guys
took over once the walls were poured. They finally
finished up around 9 pm.

We started installing the top plate on top of the
ICF wall. The scissor lift was a great help in
getting this done.

We completed removing the 2x10 laminated
beams that supported the Lite-Deck floor during
the pour. These 2x10's will be used for the top
plate. We'll remove the supports for the center
beam in another week or so to give it more cure
time.
